In January I took my first skiing holiday in over a decade! Yep, a decade. I love skiing and had skied for about 10 weeks before my holiday last month. My friends either can’t ski or are not of a similar standard to me. So, back in July 2010. I took the decision that I just have to go skiing again and that I would have to go on my own!

A couple of days later I did some searching on Google to organise my skiing trip when I stumbled across a company in Plymouth that couldn’t make it any simpler to escape to the snowy slopes. The company is called “Sound Ski’s” and they have a shop at Queen Anne’s Battery.
To cut a long story short, I got on the coach from outside of the shop on the Friday morning and returned to the same place by coach on Sunday afternoon with 8 full days skiing in between. I had a great time and met some great people the vast majority of which are from the Plymouth area.

I will definitely be going again next January with Sound Skis, so if you like skiing, consider going with Sound Skis. I highly recommend them.
Oh, and one final thing. I was really glad that I hired my boots and skis from Sound Skis rather than hiring them in the resort as I was provided with top-of-the-line gear. My skis were “Liberty” skis which I understand are a good make and they were just as fantastic on-piste as off-piste.

On March 26th I took my Grade 4 Violin exam so I had been practicing like an athlete for the weeks leading up to it. It went well I feel but I won’t get the results for another couple of weeks. For my pieces I played “English Dance” which is 13th-century melody and is very fast-paced and played vigorously. Then, my favourite piece “Mazurka” which is a Polish Dance that has a lively tempo and heavy accents on the first note of each bar. Finally, I played a Cuban piece called “Estes Indifferente” (You Are Indifferent) which is slower than the previous two and is played in a moody style.
I have been organising a Charity Letterbox walk on behalf of The Labrador Rescue Trust. It was a rush to get everything ready in time which I just managed to do. I sited the stamps on the moors the day before the “Spring Meet” and got caught in a heavy hail storm halfway around the route but me and my dog sheltered behind a rock and it passed off eventually. On Sunday 29th March I was in Lee Moor Village Hall at the Spring Meet selling my charity Letterbox walk along with another volunteer who bought some LRT merchandise for us to sell as well as the clue sheets for the walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and made a nice amount of money for The Labrador Rescue Trust.
In a few previous posts I have discussed website content in some shape or form. Well here is the most important thing you will learn about content on the web. I have mentioned it before but I will mention it again:
